    Change of referee

I thought this was a wind up at first, but apparently it happened. Referee Ben Toner was due to ref the Blackpool v Portsmouth game last Saturday, but he was taken off that game and sent to referee Carlisle v Yeovil instead.

No sense of humour some people.

Surely he will get this every game. Why not become Benjamin to avoid the problem. Or is that too simple?
If he was Ben Towner ....

I think it's only problematic if he referees Blackpool games while the Oystons are still owners.

Total overreaction from the EFL or could it have been the PGMOL.They said that they had done it because the revelations about the Oystons during the week would put a high profile on the match so they brought in Jon Moss to referee it.
Funny to think that Jim Bent, who I knew in the RAF, was a FL referee in the early 70s and that Segar ******* refereed the FA Cup Final in 1878 at the age of just 24.
No doubt the original “******* in the black”
