I still shiver at the thought of Salford beating us 2-0 when that was televised a couple of seasons ago, what's we win rate on live TV games,Oxford City will already have their tails up for this after beating Colchester without them being beamed around the world as an incentive

I don’t quite understand this. Does the winner receive £72,000 but Notts get an extra £27,000 from the TV rights? The local newspaper for Oxford are saying the winners get the (almost) £100,000.

72k is what the TV pay out and the 27k is paid for winning the tie.

However it is made up it won't be spent the same way as £100k from the pisspot which was earmarked for scoreboard and tannoy improvements. AH has said he's got £5.5m of overheads to cover.

Which is why any bonus like TV money and getting through to the next round at this stage can help with.

The TV companies sniff an upset. We are top of league two, Oxford City will be full of confidence, and will be up for it playing in a stadium like ours, plus we all have fresh memories of the Salford defeat.

One thing that is different about us now compared to last time is that we are in a much better place both on and off the field so hopefully we will be well organised, professional and do what is required on the day.

So does all the 72k go to Notts or do we share with Oxford? If we don't share and Oxford lose do they not get a penny?
