    Still Gutted

Only two days on but still gutted. Have just watched the Dobbie miss again and the whole 30 minutes of extra time . Goodness knows how we didn't manage to score the one goal we needed with a mixture of inspired goalkeeping and poor and unlucky finishing keeping us out . To be honest , I'm wishing I hadn't watched the re-run as it's just heightened the frustration again. Something to be proud of was the magnificent and passionate support the Queens fans gave the team . The pub next to the ground was just a sea of blue as our fans packed it out . When mobilised we really have a trumph card in our supporters so let's try to give some more of this Doonhamer backing . --- Just to rub the salt in , TNS have just been drawn against Dumbarton for the 4th time in a row in this season's Irn Bru Cup.9-----'Lastly, just a thought to ponder. We have went out of two Cup competitions this season and not got beat yet.

Re.the support. Is it really a trump card? How often has a great support (both home and away)turned up and Queens have disappointed them.Over the years I would say that it's quite a lot.Let's see how things work out this weekend when less than half of who went to TNS will be at Montrose.

I now the feeling well and as to the last point regarding going out of cups without losing it would seem to me that the squad seriously need to do some practise when it comes to penalties.

The fans were magnificent on Sunday are have been quite rightly praised my many.

Would you rather they just turned up and stood there like dummies in Burtons windows for god sake

That's not what I am saying. The fans are great but it doesn't appear to motivate the players.Too often the "floaters" turn out in decent numbers and are let down by poor play. That's why they are floaters. They are left wondering why they bothered turning up.

I know exactly what you are meaning and don't disagree as it's happened too often where bigger crowds have been let down. The main point I'm making is that if we give the team more backing like that then it WILL help the team far more in the long run than not.. Of course there won't be the same support at Montrose compared to a unique game like Saturday past .Personally, it's hard enough to get to every home game - never mind away - with work pattern.

There’s been far too much travelling for the fans recently. You’ll be lucky if there’s Queens 200 fans at Montrose
