    While he has let Zimbabwe go to the Dogs Mugabe has amassed a huge personal fortune out of its diamonds. He will be lucky if the army let him resign and go into exile. He should be put on trial along with Gucci Grace for corruption.

    The wily old fox cons everyone by refusing to step down as President, despite being ditched as leader of his own party, to much celebration, so now it’s heading foe impeachment.

    If he is impeached (and that requires 75% majorities in both Houses of Parliament so isn’t a given) then the new Vice President would take over, not mr Mnangagwa, the former one the army was working for.
    The new VP is of course a mate of Mugabe and supporter of his wife so this saga has a bit to run and celebrations may be premature.

    Yes alf, they will have to get Mugabe out in a body bag, the sooner the better.

    I have never quite grasped how it was deemed OK for white European Catholics and Protestants to roam the globe on a "Civilizing Mission", yet all the while raping, pillaging and enslaving millions of indigenous people.

    The hypocrisy still prevails today.
