I'm surprised he's not faced a hit man before now.

Just hope the outcome is peaceful and democratic. To think he was touted for a Nobel Peace Prize and offered a WHO goodwill Ambassadorship recently leaves me speechless.
The man has run the country to the ground with hyperinflation and given his family billions from diamond mines. Good to see him go at last, but who comes next and what happens thereafter adds to even more uncertainty in the world.

former vice-president, Emmerson Mnangagwa was reported to have returned to Zimbabwe on Wednesday morning from South Africa, where he fled after being stripped of his office by Mugabe last week in an apparent attempt to clear Grace’s path to power.

The military takeover comes two days after the army chief – flanked by other senior officers – warned that he was prepared to “step in” to end turmoil in the ruling Zanu-PF party.

However as he is 75 he may not be around for long. It’s said he survived poisoned by Mugabes ome made ice cream recently.
