I don't agree with the project but am very glad we're in the top tier. That speaks volumes for our club management and directors. Of course youth development is very much part of our business model and forward planning. Well done MFC.

Well done to all concerned in getting us to the elite level. I do think it's a lot of rubbish though.

Can't add any congrats - it'll cost us a fortune, and effectively we're just a stool pigeon to push young, pampered players through a system where they'll ultimately fail in the end. What's the flippin point in it?!

The so called Pro Youth system that was supposed to be the Holy Grail of producing a production line of football talented youngsters for clubs.Has been shown to be that only 2% of all the youngsters that take part in it turn to out to be full time professionals a poor return for the amount of money invested. The same result I suspect will come of this Project Brave but I would love to be proved wrong.

You're unlikely to be proved wrong the demands for success and the cost of failure for clubs make it improbable that youth are going to get into the first team squad ahead of seasoned veterans/imports. I don't think it will change anything just cost a whole lot more money for staff etc
