    Micheal Oneill

If you were in his shoes would you take the Scotland job or just stay put?

TBF I think our squad is a bit stronger.

It would be fantastic for Scotland if we could land him.

The one that got away re being united manager!

He lives in Scotland already. Would be paid more and has the potential to have a similar project as with NI, and then sky’s the limit for jobs. Would be a good move for him and us

Yes lives in Edinburgh. Despite how well he has done in club jobs and internationally he doesn’t seem to be getting offered big jobs down south.

Seems perfect for Scotland if can land him. Ranking not too bad and we could be seeded to qualify for the expanded euros. Would fancy our chances with O’Neill in charge

France 98 keeps getting longer and longer ago - still remember it though!

I'm not convinced that what he does with Norn would work with Scotland anyway. They have 2 sound, solid centre-backs that he builds the team around and a squad full of players who completely buy into his philosophy. He wouldn't have either with us. And why on Earth he would want to take the job is beyond me.

Just not convinced they would. Craig Levein took a similar approach and look where it got him.

I don’t believe that’s why Craig Levein failed.
