    Taffy

Not coming to the turf on Saturday due to Burnley being very petty (according to him)'.seems like a misunderstanding to me somewhere down the line.. Shame really as he was a great player for us..

I do hope the club can sort something out tomorrow ..

Wanting his young grandchildren to join him one in Burnley colours as they live there and one in Swansea as they live there.
Fears Home fans might abuse the Swansea one, are surely not what our fans are like.

The club claim it was a misunderstanding, just get it sorted, even if he had turned up with just one grandchild in Swansea colours it wouldn't have been a problem.

    .

    this.....

Burnley have said they would have been prepared for Mr James to be accompanied by his two grandchildren wearing the respective colours of the two clubs, but say he had only mentioned his grandson attending and appearing in a Swansea City jersey.

“Mr James mentioned that he wanted to bring his grandson onto the pitch at half-time, wearing a Swansea shirt,” said a club spokesperson.

“This was felt by those members of staff responsible for such matters as a little inappropriate.

“During these conversations, we were never told about another grandchild, who we now understand was to wear a Burnley shirt.

“Had we known this, we could have gladly arranged something.”
