I noticed the new signs going up and realised that I'd forgot to post this.

CR Civil Engineering Ltd is bringing The Moulders Rest back into use as a new regional office.

A pity that it is not re-opening as a pub.... spent many happy times there when Pete and Julie ran it

28,000 pubs closed on Britain since the 1970s, that's about 2 per day for the last 40 years. Not sure at the moment why anyone would think opening one as a pub would be a viable proposition?

Changing demographics of the area made the pub uneconomic to run.

Closure of Millmoor finished off several pubs in Masbro'. Those pubs were usually packed with football fans on match days, and that brought in a lot of income (Thanks again, Boothy!)
