Yes, I thought Reading outplayed us for large stretches of the match. They were inches from a goal 5-6 times. But Reading fell asleep defending on the Cavaleiro goal and that’s all the difference in the match.

It wasn't a vintage performance by Wolves, but two top quality goals from Cavaleiro and Doherty. Wolves rode their luck early on with Ruddy turning the ball onto the post and he also had to deal with a poor backpass from Coady. To win when you're not at your best makes the three points more worthwhile.

Reading stopped Wolves from trying to play out at the back and we made numerous mistakes in our passing. The second goal really killed Reading off. Before that Ruddy's point blank save probably was a big turning point if you ask me. I do think the only way Reading was going to score was from either a set-piece or an individual mistake by Wolves, thankfully neither happened.

Credit to Wolves fans who applauded Dave Edwards when he came on for Reading and also when we did the Icelandic clap for Bod!

I have read somewhere that when Doc scored he became the thir****th outfield Wolves player to score this season. Who needs a multi million pound striker when the rest are chipping in.
