Matej Vydra scores again

They used to say that about Lineker, Greaves, Rush and many others (inc. O'Hare) - all he ever does is score.

Not that I am comparing Vydra to any of those but the point still stands...

And especially Our own Francis Lee, nearly a goal every two games over his career, and he was probably only switched on for ten minutes a game. Utterly frustrating til that magic moment. Vydra's no Frannie Lee but strikers have a currency we can all measure and whatever else we might say, like Frannie, Vydra keeps cashing in (and, unlike Frannie or any of the others above, in a side we don't really think is any good)

That's frequently the case with Vydra. I don't understand the love for him.

The same was said about Ince, yet his assists and goal record was higher than any other player! Lawrence has the capability, but needs Rowett to play him in the best position and have the best tactics to capitalise on him.

I'd have any player whos cores 12 or more goals and creates another 12 in a season, rather than one who runs around but scores or creates nothing.

Strikers job is to stick it in the onion bag, not do all the twinkle toes assist stuff, thats what lawrence and the attacking mid are for. Vydra can only feed off the service, which atm is little. 9 goals from a relatively defensive side...

One on here on here wants to sack rowett and replace him with Pulis because the football is dull....

A bloke that has a mess of a squad in the top 6 and only 7 points off 2nd almost near christmas.. just think where he'll have us once he clears the deadwood out and signs 2 or 3 more of his own players.

Hes even got vyds scoring regularly ffs,, still need to sort out the midfield though.

Attacking Mid? Do we have one? We play a striker, a number 10 and 2 wide players, 2 x DM, back 4 and a keeper. Who is the AM?

Interesting stat on Vydra. 11 shots on target this season, 9 goals.

You serious? Vydras link up play in the final 3rd puts Ince to shame,, Vydra is twice the player, hes a 20 goal a season number 10, he contributes more to our overall play, has pace and his finishing is premiership quality imo. Vydra is the best striker we have.
