It looks like Swanny havent learned from their stay of execution, at the end of last season when they just managed to send Hull down. And Newcastle seem to be in freefall again and could be joing Sunderland in the Champship very soon.
As for the Baggies, surely Alan Pardew cant be judged already after such a few games in charge. But maybe that 'good luck' run of results that some teams have when they appoint a new manager, hasnt happened here at all.

I looked ahead to our situation and pedicted what we will need in terms of wins to gain promotion. Looking at our near neighbours, their position looks precarious to say the least.

Thay have amassed 15 points from 20 games, less than a point per game. If we take the usual standard of 40 points to avoid relagation they need another 25 points from 18 games. That equates to 9 victories needed, 18 draws will not be good enough. Two wins so far this season does not bode well>

Absolute miracle if they stay up.

Their only saving grace is that there is some absolute garbage in that league.

Bottom half of the table is some really bad teams and a few underachieving ones. WBA might be in the worst shape of them all not having won since August. Reminds me of our relegation season: started 2-1-0, then fell down the table the rest of the year.

Also notice there hasn't been a thread devoted to Wolves since when, October maybe?

Probably because they won a game around about then.

    Ho hum.
