Goin to be interesting kids spent time at a big club and knows his chances will be limited I think that's why he's happy here he's getting game time I believe he wants to stay so that's one excuse KK can't use

There's plenty of kids who'd take £25k a week and a seat in the u23 bench though. Hopefully he's seen the example of Harry as one that you can 'serve an apprenticeship' playing and then go for the cash. It doesn't hurt your career, but as we've seen this week, your career can end in one tackle and I can't blame any kid for taking a contract that will set them up for life, no matter how much we want to see them in our colours.

I agree with all that FKB when slew went to Blackburn he set himself and his family up for life so you can't blame em if they do it,I just think Brooks is different in that respect and is happy to stay this is only based on previous choices he's made in his career and comments he's made if only we had a body language expert who could confirm my suspicions

I think the difference with Slew vs. Brooks is that Slew could have had a good career around Championship level but got handed a golden ticket which I think he was right to take, whereas Brooks has the potential to be a superstar. If he plays it right, continues to learn and develop, then he will be a top PL player in three/four years time imo.

There's also the fact that he will play whilst at BDBL and, if he continues to develop, there will be even more interest in him thus increasing the price tag.

There's also an n outside chance he might reach the PL with SUFC so, hopefully, the powers that be have a vested interested in not selling for a change.

Can they appreciate the win, win position for once?
