Play defensive boring football and win and you will be tolerated. Play great football and lose and you will still be tolerated to a point. Play boring defensive football and lose and you have had it. Unfortunately the art of winning 1 0 from a set piece had deserted them, coupled with some really strange team selections and players out of position just frustrated the fans who still pay their money and turn up week after week. How the hell Tony you can travel from where you live to watch what was being served up I do not know. You are certainly making up for those years at the Mail when you stopped going and concentrated on that amateur team you used to run the lottery for.

If I had any say I would go for Wilder from Sheffield United. Why not give a young and up and coming manager from the lower league a go. A breath of fresh air.

I agree. I don't think it is critical that we have a manager with Premier experience.

The issue we have is whoever is appointed has got to hit the ground running due to our current position had the board done the correct thing and sacked Pulis after Huddersfield a new manager would have possibly had 2 free goes against Chelsea and Spurs instead now we will almost certainly be in the bottom 3 when the new manager takes over.

Probably going to be money down the drain but had 2x£5 bets both at 20/1, Nigel Pearson or Martin O’Neill to be our next Manager. Either pays £100 for the £10 Bet. Anyone else put money on yet and if so who are you backing?
