Just as long as I don't have to watch that Cnut in an Albion shirt playing wide left again Des!

My blood runs cold at the mere thought....I gather he's done rather better as a manager though.

Derek McInnes shouldn't be ruled out of this though.

Megson quite rightly gets the credit for our resurgence but McInnes was a massive factor too....a terrific captain who commanded huge respect and who has done well as a manager so far.

I think another person should also be contemplated...at some point Darren Fletcher will get a manager's job and we could do worse than tempt him back as player manager.

I would also consider Mowbray again,if he's learned lessons and can meld some defensive nous to his attacking innstincts then he's proved he is a talented manager albeit he did dump on us when leaving for Celtic.

I suspect I'll be underwhelmed by our choice as O'Neil gets unveiled.

Hoddle might turn up.....that'd be interesting!

Well, Its nice to some people on here happy for once. I wont count on it lasting until I see a name of someone who can do the job. Maybe someone will turn up. Lets hope.

I know absolutely nothing about him as a manager. Swedish baggie could fill us in I guess?

Left field choice...how about Aitor Karanka? PLayed good football with Middlesborough but ultimately failed when he bought them up to the prem.

Potter has done wonders with Östersunds FK, plays very attractive and successful football. And he doesn’t seem to be ”Old school” at all. But, unproven of course at PL level.

We may just have handed a huge boost to those in the bottom 8 or so.
I'm with you boingy with the names banded about wouldn't want any of them .

    I'd rather "yo,yo" under a Mowbray type that endure Pukus type s h y t e.
