Yeovil through ball into the box, clumsy tackle by Duffy cost us the 3 points....grrr....to be honest 1-1 was about right.....we conceded too much of the ball in the 2nd half, maybe trying to sit on the 1-0 lead

He's known as being a "versatile" defender, but earlier in his career he was more of a right-back. In that regard he reminds me of John Thompson. Too flakey to be operating in the central area where mistakes tend to cost a goal, but could be less vulnerable if he played in a wider position where you're not the last line of defence. Couldn't see him displacing tootle though!

It's incredibly frustrating that we have shot ourselves in the foot by giving away a penalty. We were cruising to 3 points and retaining our place at the top of the table. Now we have gifted Luton top spot.

That feels like a defeat and is certainly two points lost. I know Duffy is going to take the blame and yes it was a silly thing to do, but it's a team game and we should really have scored a second to put the game to bed.

On the plus side a point away from home is always good if you win your home games.

True, but that's not always possible away from home. Making progress is all about learning lessons and eliminating weaknesses, and I'm afraid Richard Duffy has proven more than enough times now that he a weak link. Whether we've got the resources to bring in a better quality centre-half is the unknown factor. It could be a case of having to move him out before we can get someone else in, in which case you have to make do until that's feasible.

Love it, the same t@@ts come out only when there’s a mistake / bad performance, he’s what we’ve got, live with it, happy with a point away from
home although 3 would have been awesome.

No idea what the Yeovil sending-off was all about....there was the normal pre-corner melee going on, Notts player was bent over holding his face and the ref went straight over and sent the Yeovil lad off the pitch

I post when we win as well, praising those who deserve it, like Hewitt recently. Mind you, it's true we do hear from the same regulars when there's a mistake, very often in Richard Duffy's case because there's so many of them! It's a platform that never stops giving!

The best thing about tonight’s result is that we’ve increased the number of points between us and the fourth placed team.

True! That matters far more than being top of the league. If we're in a pack of two or three that breaks away from 4th place, but we have to accept finishing behind Luton, that's fine with me.

Trouble is Kels, it feels like 2 points lost rather than 1 gained, we were coasting...under no real pressure but we started to sit deeper and deeper conceding the midfield to Yeovil....we should have pushed for the 2nd goal IMO and put the game away.......onwards and upwards...in KN we trust
