    Hartley...hmm

I hate criticising people for telling the truth but I'm not convinced this is the image Robinson wanted us pushing this week...

What Hartley said is nothing that Celtic and everyone else doesn't already know

Indeed, but it's a freebie for the papers to bring up Bowman, have Rodgers etc pleading for protection...it's completely the opposite tone from the manager 24 hours before.

Rodgers was pleading for protection a couple of days after we beat Rangers. Let's not worry about Rodgers and what he thinks of our approach. He's got his own physical players. And as for what the tabloids think. Do people actually believe what they read in them.

Fekk the lot of them - we're always a man down any time we play the Ugly Sisters 'cos of easily influenced referees. Hartley should be applauded for not succumbing to 'disguised' media-led questioning. They'll portray MFC as a physical side regardless of what any player says. They're just 5hittin themselves in case the gravy train of Invincibility is ended, meaning they can no longer slevver all over Saint Brendan!

Yes is the answer to that question, some people at least.

Fingers crossed Craig Thomson ignores it but he wouldn't be human if the coming headlines - with quotes, helpfully supplied by Hartley - aren't in his mind.

I've only just watched the interview and the attitude is exactly the attitude I feel. There's a bit where he says on the upcoming games that they'll be looking to beat them AGAIN on the Wednesday. Go on son. We are Motherwell. Believe. COYW

Hartley was simply responding to loaded questions which the media have been peddling all week and will continue to do so for a wee while yet. Chris Cadden also had to deal with them.

The q's to Cadden were excruciating at times ... it ended with the male questioner almost creaming himself when he asked "so, how come Kieran Tierney's so good Chris"?

WTF!? Fair play to our boy; he handled things really well and took it in his stride, but Jesus, that media bloke must be having a pang of conscience after watching his team getting humped in Paris tonight.
