    Bartley green

Does anyone know how many games Bartley has played this season? If he's played most then he won't be available, if he's hardly played any then maybe an option

I doubt green would come back, could do with a gk in his prime, late 20s early 30s, one with wiedwald quick distribution, silvestri shot stopping, green area commanding, and lonergan experience of the championship, now where can we get a gk with all them qualities, hard to find, plus individually, all them gks have big faults in them, that's why none are playing in the Premier league as first choice

Bartley hasn't played since injuring his medial ligaments in August v MK Dons in the Carandboot Cup.

So maybe come Christmas he might be looking to regain his fitness somewhere????

A goalkeeper 100% no team will ever get promoted for this league without a top goalie. I'd go for Bentley at Brentford myself, young and absolute quality.

A centre back, this nonsense that Cooper is any good needs to stop. He is good when we are on top/ winning. When we are losing or under pressure he is nowhere to be seen/looks flustered and never organising with any command. Good squad player but not good enough for promotion.

Left back- Berardi tries hard but we lose so much attacking down that side because he just can't do it.

Striker- Goes without saying imo. We need someone who guarantees goals, Roofe tries hard but he never really looks like scoring and we haven't seen much of Ekuban. Grot is crap and Lassoga may come good in 6 months but not right now + doesn't suit our best style.

Outside of that think we still need another quality winger and a seasoned campaigner in central midfield for those tough games away from home someone like Clayton, no thrills but knows what is needed in those type of games.

How about a manager who has managed 400 championship games and then buy players who have played 400 championship games each, then there could be no excuses

    Agree.

Problem with that Clive is it would cost far more money than it seems we are prepared to pay..but for what its worth I think getting people in who know the division and what type of players are required is the best way to go..if you can afford it.

We can't afford not to, if of course there is the intent to be competitive, (not to say winning the division). That much has been shown under Bates, GFH, Cellino and now Radrizzani.

And if reality dawns, we won't do anything of the sort with Orta calling the shots. My mother could do a better job of directing the scouting operation and shes been dead 20 years.

Never going to happen, unfortunately (although Bartleys injury might give pause for thought in his case).
