    Good luck to Chris. He has had a lot to contend with in his private life since leaving us and it has affected his career, of that I have no doubt.
    I can only wish him well in Scotland, I hope that he enjoys it.

    someone i know coached him and Tommy Smith ( Watford ) as schoolboys and said whilst Smith was a nasty piece if work - Eagles was a good "un

    Sorry to be contrarian, but although I believe Chris to be a smashing lad, I thought he was vastly over-rated, never seemed to be much of a link between brain and feet. Nothing personal though, good luck to him in Scotland.

    He will come across a few ex Clarets and may get to play at Ibrox who he famously turned down after clubs agreed fees.
