    Season defining point?

Eigh**** games played, over a third of the season behind us and the Championship table reads-

    Wolves P 18 W 13 D2 L3 GF 35 GA 16 Dif +19 Pts 41.

We all agree it has been a terrific start, with some superb football being played. Should we be nervous or concerned about our next three fixtures. Three teams from the bottom four, Bolton H, Birmingham A, Sunderland H,: In previous seasons, over the last decade or so, these are the sort of fixtures that we have dropped points in. They are the fixtures that could define our season.

Three victories could set us up for a good Christmas with an away game against Sheff Wed, Ipswich at home and visits to Millwall and Bristol City over the holiday period, before we play Brentford, H, in the New Year. All these teams are there for the taking and twenty four points are at stake. Of the games mentioned I think that Bristol City could be the hardest to get something from.

All our sceptics, from you know where, are convinced we will struggle in the cold wet days and nights of an English winter. The playing surface at Molineux is superb so home games should not be a problem and pitches in general have improved massively. Added to that we haven't really had a bad winter for a number of years so their wishes may not come to fruition.

This "cold wet Tuesday night in Whatever" is a bit of a red herring now. OK, when the ball weighed a ton and the pitches were ploughed fields it might have been valid but not anymore. Anyway North Italy and North Potugal are hellish at times as they are here, in fact In the Norte Region of Portugal the forecast is below freezing overnight for the next week. So, I don't think, if we do have a dip in form, that it will be related to our overseas boys getting a "chill".

It was WBA53 who has given it the big un about our foreign players potentially struggling in our winter times. He's made a few comments, let's see what happens first-only a complete idiot would say as much before the event.

    Bang on the money Woody.

I'll tell you this, If we fck this up, we fck this up.

If we fck this up it will have nothing to do with geography.
