Barnsley - v - Leeds United ***Matchday Thread***

    12.30pm KO Folks!!!

Barnsley striker Tom Bradshaw is a doubt for the visit of Leeds after bruising his back in a car accident.

Angus MacDonald may return after a foot injury, but Zeki Fryers and Mamadou Thiam picked up knocks against Cardiff.

Eunan O'Kane could replace Ronaldo Vieira, who serves a one-match ban after picking up a red card in Leeds' 4-1 defeat by Wolves on Wednesday.

Striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga is still unwell, but Stuart Dallas and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson could play.

    Match facts

Barnsley have won five of their last six home league matches against Leeds (L1), scoring 17 goals in those five victories.

None of the 30 meetings between these sides at Oakwell in all competitions has ended goalless, with 30 goals scored in the last seven matches.

Leeds have lost their three away Yorkshire derbies in 2017, losing to Barnsley in January, Huddersfield in February and Sheffield Wednesday in October.

Barnsley have on average fielded the youngest starting line-up in the Championship this season (23 years, 220 days).

Leeds haven't conceded three or more goals in three consecutive away league matches since November 2006 (four in a row) - the last match in that run was at Oakwell, a 3-2 defeat.

Samuel Saiz has had a hand in 12 goals for Leeds this season in all competitions (eight goals, four assists), four more than any other player.

    0 - 2 to us I think.........

Some luck and a referee who wont allow the opposition to kick lumps out of us please. This just might compensate for TCs inability to match fire with fire.

GK- Pick someone from the crowd on the day.
Lb- Berardi (we've no other choice)
    Cb- Cooper (sigh)
    Cb- Jansson
    Rb- Ayling
    Cm- Phillips
Cm- Klich (want to see what he is actually made of, not point having him if he doesn't get a run)
    Lm- Alioski
    Cam- Saiz
    Rm- Hernandez
    St- Roofe

Klich not even in the squad..not a happy bunny either as he found out via Phil Hay on twitter that he wouldn't be travelling with the rest of the team, have to say he has every right to be p1ssed off.
