Went once, never again. Nasty place.
For as long as I can remember this has not been a visitor friendly game( didn't they once ban all visiting fans?) so it remains one of the few "older" grounds that I have yet to visit, however top against 2nd is tempting me so I have just checked prices,a very competitive £20 & availability, a surprisingly low "total" allocation of 1.032, surely we must sell out? I am aware that it's not the nicest place to visit but does anyone know if it's a relative safe place to go by coach or if it's one of those where however you travel you must "run the gauntlet"?

Went seven times, never again. Nasty place.
To answer the specific question, I was on a coach that had a rock or brick thrown at it in the mid 70s. I went by train just before Fenton was sacked and Notts fans were attacked with stones and bottles near the station. I went by car and I had my fuel pipe cut. You could try flying.

Probably the worst ground in this division and fans
Last time I was there we lost 6 nil and we did well to get nil. Terrible place with no soul.
First visit was in 1979. Second visit was last season. Not changed a bit. Still a complete **** hole.
