Chuck in Macon GA and that's a road trip I'd like to do. Or down to New Orleans.

I have also toyed with the idea of touring all the Aberdeens in the states but it looks like quite a long drive and secondly, on Google maps most of them look like two bit sh*tholes.

Some serious travelling would also be top of my list. I want to pack in work for 6 months or a year, rent out my flat, fly to Spain, pick up the campervan and see where I end up. Get through France as quickly as possible, spend some time in Holland, some more time in Germany and then catch the ferry to Latvia and up to Estonia. Something inside keeps telling me to just go ahead and do it but I always seem to chicken out.

Also flirted with the idea of renting a van in the US and doing a road trip away from some of the more touristy places.

Japan is everything you think it is and more.

Get long service leave next year and plan to travel (finance allowing) and , so far, have Galapogos Manu Picu and Grand Canyon on the list for the Americas and Ankar Wat for Asia. Would like to get in (say) the Maracana or some major sport venue but will wait and see what budget and world politics are like at the time.
