    Villa's top target in Jan.................

    ..................... Leon Clarke

Has to be a bollox rumour surely, despite him currently lagging all over La Liga's best strikers in Rhodes and Hooper. Villa are a bit like the pigs, You can only have the best players in the league if they've cost the most money

Being a Brummy, wonder if he's a Villa fan?

Leon has 18 months left on his contract, so we'll see if he gets offered an extension

I just don't think we will lose him.........he's having the time of his life at the moment. A move, with all its upheaval, at this stage of his career would be a massive gamble unless he's happy to follow the money......

He was a Wolves fan - but surely now he’s a Blades fan.
Anyway, it is NEVER a good policy to sell your leading goal scorer unless you can replace him with someone better - and at the moment, that would be impossible.

I don't think 32 is that old in football nowadays
    Isn't Ronaldo 32 ?
Can't see anybody picking him up on the cheap because of his age

Clarke is the Championships top scorer, he is mobile, dangerous, quicker than his languid appearance suggests and more importantly he's finally decided that he wants to be a top professional footballer

Maybe ending up at Bury was the eye opener he needed

I was discussing this with a mate the other day
The discussion centred around players that played for both United and Wendy

Are there any players who have played for both that would consider Wendy their preferred club of the two

TERRY CURRAN is the only one I could think of

    Imre Varadi ???
