    Ee I Ee I Ee I O ...Up the football ....

....here we go when we win promotion this is what we'll sing WE ARE ROVERS WE ARE ROVERS MOWBRAY IS OUR KING!!

As of last night I am allowing myself to get excited in Nov!! Yes its still early, yes we haven't be great most the season, but we really are now blowing teams away. We have battered most of the sides around us, or at worst drawn (away) we are running into form at the right time. We have to be in that top 2 around xmas and its been clear for weeks now, we will be! Once we get there, we will pull away.

I went last night (alongside the near on 2k Rovers fans who where immense yet again!!) Not much to say other than we where superb!!! We scored 4, had near on 20 shots, created loads. They did come at us, and when it counted, we stood firm. Hard to pick a MOM, as everyone did their job. Lets rest the key players vrs Crewe. I personally wont be too upset if we lost that. The league is the ONLY focus.

Peterborough away for me next!! One of the only lower league grounds I haven't been to! Looking forward to that one. Some big fixtures coming up.

Champs I must say I am loving the positivity and Its nice to hear you are enjoying life again
I don't know you personally but know of what you have been through
We havnt always seen eye to eye but feel we have recently sung from the same hymn sheet
It's great to hear from you personally of your recent experiences watching the rovers and hope it continues
I still am expecting a dip but years of being downbeat under the venkys have done that to me
Maybe this season it changes old pal just maybe.

That's really nice of you to say Robin. Thankyou.
I should come with a warning. I do get het up, I do kick off, I am rude to some really decent and knowledgeable people on here. Christ, I have even been rude to Auks. Possibly the nicest chap around. I have been rude to Alf, you ....and I jusy hope people get to see I am not an arrogant prick, I just get carried away. If I do go off, just roll your eyes, ignore me and the day after you will know I have already started feeling stupid.
It's really special to me this season, more than football at times. I lost my dad and brother in quite a short space of time. I just know they are willing us on. Don't ask me why but I feel close to them when I go to matches. I have made myself start going home and away, to fill my time. Give me a purpose again (after years of being down) and I have found some positivity. I cant explain it properly, but I started out watching football at this level. I feel like I did when my Dad and brother came with me. I realise I am getting a bit carried away, but its important to remain positive! Sometimes that's the hardest thing of all. This just means a lot to me personally.

Even Saxo, my god we have argued over the years! But during my toughest moments, he was actually there, and we chatted, he helped me. I would like to see him post again.

Good that you are back to your best, Champs.
As for the game, the funny thing is, I was a bit disappointed overall. I thought we really only played well for half an hour. Perhaps it was partly because of watching online. The lack of atmosphere does make a difference.
What do you make of Whittingham? I thought he was neat, and didn't do much wrong, but I wish he would try to be a bit more adventurous. I did wonder if this steady link-game is something TM has asked him to play, on the grounds that the flair-elements can come from elsewhere. A bit of a puzzle. I'd love him to really run a game from central midfield, but that's not really the style we're playing.
