Hard to disagree with that but also have to accept that 4/5 week ago we would have probably gone on to lose that game.

Wow, just played a team awash with the benefits of PL money, a squad value of 80m, we more than matched them till we tired, had Hernandez stayed on, think we would have done them...I must be easily pleased

Unlucky not to get three points. We played the best 45 mins I've seen this season 1st half against a team full of decent players . As has been mentioned we needed that 2nd goal and were unlucky not to get . Villa were lucky with there goal and they knew it from their over the top reaction (you would think they just won the league ) . They had two very decent subs to bring on second half which shows squad depth can tune the game back in your favour .
Thought we played well and have progressed from last season in many ways .

A game of 2 halves stomp..1st half we battered em and had we got that 2nd goal I can't see a way back for em.

It was obvious from the very start of the 2nd half that they were 'up for it' and we couldn't stop em..you could feel their goal coming and it came..shame we didn't have an answer to stop em.

The same Villa whom spent £12 million on a proven striker only to find out that he failed to make training on a regular basis due to ................. and the same Villa whom had a potential England midfielder sat on the bench as he also failed to turn up for training on a regular basis due to .................. and the same Villa whom employed an experienced tactician of a Manager to take 'em back up ............... after the over payed & over valued 'big time charlie' mercenaries had walked out on 'em !

Oh the joys of supporting a (now) well run club ..........

Would have to agree. 3 players were a whisker away from the second goal which would probably have won it for us. As i said earlier, i hope thats not gonna be the story of our season. Villa knew they had an escape and were more than happy with their point. Youd have thought theyd just been promoted with their celebrations at the end.

A point they thought they would not get and its a better point for them than it is for us hence their over the top celebrations billy.
