Of course it will be rescinded, the game's as bent as a three pound note.

He's had 2 rescinded this season already.

I'm never going to watch highlights of that game so I only saw it live.

Looked a sending off to me.

We have 2 genuine wingers in the squad - GMS and Wright. I don't think they have played together in the same match. It means McInnes has asked Stewart, McLean, Rooney etc to play out of position.

May and Rooney clearly won't work together because we never go with a straight 2 through the middle.

The tactics are bewildering and it means we're effectively playing with the handbrake on all the time.

For me, the team should be set up to maximise what we have in attack, because what we have in defence is extremely limited.

    I'd play:

    Lewis
    Logan Arnason McKenna Considine
    Shinnie McLean
    Wright Christie GMS
    Rooney

And just get the ball out wide and into the box for Rooney.

The sooner we sign either a proper left back and/or a proper ball winning midfielder who can also play a bit the better. We're complete pushovers in there. With McLean leaving we could actually do with signing 2 quality midfielders and pushing Shinnie back to left back - Considine is honking too.

Tansey is a charlatan and O'Connor is howling.

It's about time McInnes set the team up to achieve its potential instead of hamstringing ourselves with bizarre combinations of players and 3 at the back nonsense.

EDIT: I should say before anyone else does, that I know the team I have chosen still has deficiencies. I personally think, with a run of games and consistent selection, it is the best we can put out. Rooney is a complete waste of a jersey if you fail to service him properly, but a fantastic goalscorer with the right attacking combination behind him.
You have a pop at Tansey and O'Connor yet play the biggest liability in the side at left back???

Your post lost all credibility when you mentioned Considine.

I'm on the ball, only took me a day to get that.

Seems I'm not as on the ball as I thought. I'll give this another day.

Was it just me or was the 2nd goal sneaky as fu@k:

Ross loses the ball (he's young & will learn) as no one shows for him then Miller sneakily blocks Mclean (yeah he was on the pitch) from stopping the break in the middle of the pitch, then Considine is slowly jogging (sprinting for him) to stop the cross coming in (down our very weak side) and finally how did Logan let Windass push him to get a couple of yards on him before sprinting into the box unchallenged.

To me the whole team just weren't up for it (didn't look motivated), no desire, no determination or a want/need to win. A lot of things don't help but the players need to look at themselves long and hard and ask "did i give it my all?"

Logan in particular has disappointed me in the last few games. I don't see them live so difficult to judge if it's attitude but O'Connor , Considine etc. you expect to be sh1te because, well....they are. But Logan can play, even if he does have defensive frailties, he is better than he has shown lately.

What part of my post did you miss where I conceded that even our 'best' team, in my eyes, has deficiencies?

Maybe you also missed the part where I said I'd move Shinnie to left back basically at the first opportunity we get - that being when we have central midfielders worthy of the name.

Logan's been in poor form all season, he was at fault for both goals on Sunday and the Killie goal last week.

Plenty of folk have been calling for Harvie to replace Considine but Shay deserves to be dropped for Harrington.

I think your strongest starting X1 you mentioned the other day is pretty close to mine?

    Lewis
    Logan Arnason McKenna Harvie
    McLean Shinnie
    Stewart Christie GMS
    May

Properly motivated and with the right attitude, we should be good enough to strongly challenge for 2nd

    The flaws in that team?
Harvie is a complete unknown but I'm sick of the plodding Considine
I'd have Shinnie at left back to see if it stops him getting booked every game in the first 15 minutes, nullifying 50% of your centre midfield - ideally a Shinnie type for midfield would be good but with the current squad as it is, hes stays in midfield
Weak out wide in comparison to the last few seasons but there's little alternative

This would be my team too.

A lot of people getting on Shinnies case about bookings and yes some of them are daft but by christ we need somebody getting stuck in and he does it because he is one of a few who actually cares.

Crazy to think our strength over the last few years is now our weakness. Maybe just go through the middle, never going to happen but something different would be:

    4-3-1-2

    Lewis

    Logan Arnason McKenna Harvie

    McLean O'Connor Shinnie

    Christie

    May Rooney
