Thread: Quinn

    Quinn

Deserves a mention, strolled it yesterday, won everything, teamed up nicely with Durnan and commanded and gave instructions from the back

Seen people on here on about punting him in Jan when his contracts up but personally i wouldnt, rather have him to Edge any day of the week

Agree, felt both centre halves dominated in the air and stood their ground. Both also tried to pass the ball as well. Good organising, continously encouraging others and letting others know what was required

Was relieved Quinn was picked ahead of Edge and it proved the right move as we restricted them to hopeful long shots and they never really got a clear chance in the box.
Felt we handled the physicality well, which was intensified by the lack of proper refereeing.

After initially wanting Quinn in place of Donaldson, I was one who said very recently that i think his wage could be better spent elsewhere in the team. But in his case i am very happy to be proved wrong, especially seen as he was playing wrong side.

He did have a few dodgy moments and was partly to blame for the pass back, although Harry could have been out quicker to help him. Sure ive seen slow Harry before on more than one occasion!

Totally agree, a centre half that can play football rather than lump it up the park. Had a great game.

As scobbie has bit of injury record and Quinn can play anywhere across the back surely it would be wrong to let him go

I disagree. It was a lot more than a 'few!'

I really really think we’ve got the players to play a back 3, we’re winning at the moment and they say you shouldn’t change a winning team but I like the sound of a back 3, I’d line up

    Lewis
    Durnan Quinn scobbie
    Murdoch fyvie flood robson
    Fraser
    Mcdonald king
