John McGovern's Derby Medals and Stuff Go on Sale.

This is the Nottingham Post version: http://www.nottinghampost.com/news/f...keeping-868042

    Derby Telegraph has more information.

No, it's not treachery on McGovern's part nor is he burning bridges. He's probably a wee bit skint and wants to spend on his grandkids.
There's some really awesome stuff on sale. Perhaps some of you with a bit of dosh, might just want to get your grubby hands on a title winning medal?

Now I've read the report I can see his reasons, and we Rams have to look on a footballer as having split loyalties that we don't have. I think in his position I'd keep the Euro medals

I'm having a bid I reckon, after being an avid collector of all sorts as a kid I went full circle and don't actually own anything that hasn't got a useful function, can't think of anything it would be nicer to own than some or all of this stuff

If your bid is successful, I expect a Christmas card for bringing it to your attention.
