Why else would semi-literate morons like Boyd, Ferguson et al be given house room?

Their "insight" is cliched bilge expressed with the eloquence of a farmyard goat.

They're, collectively, doing Traynor and Glib ad S's bidding at every turn to try to curry favour.
Suppose for a minute that McInnes hasn't and doesn't want to go for sevco. This may or may not be the case, but it's certainly plausible.

By repeatedly stating as fact he wants to go, the BBC and weegia have ruined his relationship with dons fans, and probably the players and chairman too.
To stay at Pittodrie in that scenario is near impossible. He may not want to go to sevco, but it's now his only way out. He's always seemed above average intelligence for a footballer - he can't be keen to go to sevco in its current basket-case incarnation?

Bet he wishes he took the Sunderland job now, and got out of the fu(ked up world of scottish football!

You are of course 100% correct in your observation, sneck. BBC Sport Scotland's behaviour in this whole episode has been a disgrace. McLaughlin's assertion that "Rangers are prepared to pay in the region of £1M ...." is fake news, kids. He does not know this to be a fact or the details of what Sevco's discussion with Milne was yesterday.

Oh, and another thing .... Jim Traynor is a fat ugly w@nker .... fact!

Maybe the time is right for AFC to pull a Sevco and ban the BBC!

Now that the sandstorm is clearing and the view ahead is clearing up it's time to take a step back and think about who the real f@cking villains are in this story. Hopefully we can all now stop tearing each other apart and turn our fire on fat Jabba and the w@nkers in the weegia press, BBC Radio Sevco et al.

As has been mentioned on another thread, what has happened is a scandal and an absolute disgrace. Fat Jabba works for Sevco; therefore that club has to be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.

I can categorically deny Rangers were ever interested in Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes. Neither did we speak to him, pester him or use the media to convince him to come. We've never even met the man before. So we huvnae.

Mason, you have contributed a few pearls to this debate but this is the best. One of the few comments which trumps ‘ah kent his faither’ (which obviously is a most unlikely interjection where Traynor is concerned).

I never believed McInnes would go to Ibrox, Sunderland seem stable in comparison, but was beginning to think he may have been ‘tapped up’. If he was, it deserves an inquiry but, if his response was, ‘well, maybe, let’s see the deal’ wtf were the Sevco board thinking of in briefing the press it was a done deal? If they hadn’t tapped him up, and done all this briefing before even asking the question of him, it suggests a level of incompetence which bodes well for another financial meltdown. I’m not Milne’s biggest fan but equally have never seen this level of stupidity from our board. Had it been so, pitchforks and burning torches would have been the order of the day and I hope we soon see these advancing along the Copland Road to the not so big as they think ‘big hoose’.
