    Next up - Hearts

Motherwell travel Tynecastle on Saturday for the first visit to Hearts in over a year. We enjoy a five point advantage over the maroon team and the aim will be to make it eight by close of play. - External Link

Oops... a tweet from this morning's press briefing from @AlisonGConroy

Louis Moult out for 3-4 weeks with hamstring injury. Peter Hartley will miss Saturday’s game with a foot problem. A late fitness test for Trevor Carson.

In the words of Robbo ... "'It's a chance for some boys on the side-lines to make a claim for a place in the first 11".

Three of our best players being out would be an absolute hammer blow to us. I don't see us getting anything today atall, Hearts will get their first win in front of their new stand with a 3-0 victory.

Its a big ask to take anything from this game with 3 crucial players missing. I'm most concerned with our striking department and where goals will come from. Control of midfield will be critical and our lads have to be up for a physical encounter.
