    Oi i may have been born in London but my heritage is from New Ross County Wexford Southern Ireland Not Northern Ireland.

    Its got nothing to do with your late dad and your family Tricky, and Im sorry to hear about that by the way.
    But what I posted about football is true isnt it, the requirements to play for that country are ridiculous.
    Big Jack the joke Paddy O'Charleton used the rule to make them a team all of a sudden from the late 80s onwards, but he did it with blatanlty obvious English or Scottish players didnt he. And the biggest example here was/is my own favourite Mick McCarthy, hes Barnsley born and bred and I bet he would have loved to play for England, rather than a B team who did offer him some Intl football.
