Is it still too early in the season to get excited?

Agreed, said before the game I would be happy with a draw.

Do behave,we are Notts & we have not even reached safety yet! Another great result today & sooner or later people (including our fans & manager) may begin to take us seriously. COYP.

Great result, I’m now looking forward to the Championship decider on the final day.

    6 points ahead of 4th. That’ll do.

Brilliant result - sounds like a fair result as Sky’s reporter said it was an evenly balanced game. The best bit is that we’re now 6 points clear of 4th place.

If there was any doubt before today that we were genuine contenders, there can be no doubt now. It's in the back of my mind that we once drew away at Sunderland in a top two clash and that was as late as March and we ended up missing out, so it's certainly not a guarantee that we're now going to finish in the top three but who else is there to fear now? Strengthen in the January window with a couple of players in the right positions (which our promotion rivals will probably do) and we'll give ourselves a very good chance of achieving promotion.

Well done Notts, a good result made a bit better by the failure of a few other teams around the top. I didn't think we'd gain ground on the likes of the Stags, Exeter and Coventry today.
