Thread: 2 obvious decisions for any coach.

Imagine what wtfs view would be if he had a match where he made about a dozen world class saves, probably wouldn't get any credit then either coz he's just doing his job isn't he, then again, aren't all the others just doing their job too?

Im just afraid that his howlers, are going to outweigh his match winning saves.

Such a world, where Wiedwald.makes.ANY world class saves, simply does not exist.

Thought he made three outstanding saves yesterday. When we got the third back four went and hugged him so they clearly like playing with him.

Howler yesterday was possibly lack of confidence to come for the ball - if he had backed his initial judgement would have been fine.

Anyway aren’t very successful Leeds team supposed to have an unreliable keeper 👀😎

Think he may be afraid of collisions with other players. Looking at a lot of the goals he has conceded, if there was any chance of a collision occurring, he has flapped/panicked.

Possibly but that can be coached out of him. As a shot stopper he is up there. I think it is more confidence as at the end of the game he dived at QPR players feet and pulled off save of the game to stop it being 2-2.

Playing in goal is the most isolated position on the park. Other players can (and do) many many mistakes in the game and we overlook it. Keeper makes one and it is amplified.

    agree 100% with HOL.

we've been through a couple of keeps that were blistered when they played for us including Kasper and even Green early on. He does distribute well and is good on the shot stopping. needs work on placement on free kicks and coming off line. Not hopeless.

the other german.... not so much.
