2 obvious decisions for any coach.

    Play Roofe and drop Weildwald.

Yes to Roofe, but whilst I wouldn't disagree Wiedwald hardly inspires confidence, for some reason when he plays the defence seems to play much better, and we seem to win more than we lose when he's playing. So I'm not sure swapping him for Lonergan, especially when we're back on a better run, is necessarily the way to go.

    Lasogga's record:

Won 4: Bristol C. (scored), Burton (scored x2), Brum, Ipswich (scored)

Lost 7: Brentford, Sheff Wed, Reading, Sheff Utd, Derby (scored), Millwall, Cardiff (sub, not used)

Out of a total of 10 wins, 3 draws, 8 defeats

Or to put it another way, without him it's won 6, drawn 3, lost 1

........cause they know what'll happen if the ball gets past them. Lol. In fairness, you could see he was initially contemplating their striker going for it. It was an error. We scored 3 at QPR and won....picking up another 3 points. Billy, shut up!

And in the interests of balance:

Wiedwald - played 14, won 8, drawn 3, lost 3, goals conceded per game 1.43

Lonergan - played 7, won 2, lost 5, goals conceded per game 1.86

And finally, with Lonergan and Lasogga it's played 5, lost 4, won 1.........

I'll stick my hand in the buzz saw here.

Felix can distribute well. when we have our younger, faster, line up in this is a big factor on the counter attack. I think when you look at the multi goal games Felix is in most of those. a keep that can distribute plays havoc on teams that really press the ball.

It's not an issue when lasogga's in. we don't have pace or a lethal counterattack.
