Why Darlow doesnt get any criticism? I watched the game from sports bar behind the goal. Any other goalie would have saved Mahrez shot. He spilled every shot and he doesnt control penalty box in any way. I also think that Benitez is every stubborn in player selections and he is getting frustrated.

Pity he couldn't teach himself to do it regularly at the other end.

    Aye.

Darlow - i don't think he will escape criticism i just think we're all processing again. He certainly should of saved their first, he'd be warned with those type of shots twice already.

We were surprised to see Mahrez' shot go in cos Darlow seemed to get two hands to it.

A lot of folk considered Tim to be our best 'keeper when he was fit. I would have kept him (and said so at the time).

funny - isn't that the exact reasons why RAFA wanted an experienced goalie in the summer????????

    Yup - spot on June.

Their is a reason Rafa wanted experience in the side and we're seeing it now.

I expect we'll be targeting an experience keeper in Jan again. Alongside all the other positions we need filled.

Because Rafa thought he wouldn't come back from his injury the same keeper.

Which to a degree was held out in his loan spells in the dutch league: Only playing in 18 games of which he conceded 27 goals and won only 6 games.

The fact he's only played in two game for Brighton since signing for them, one a league cup game they lost against Cherries and the other an Under 23's game they lost against Stevenage.

It does suggest he's not the keeper he was.

I agree that we shouldn't have sold him however I can understand why he was sold and at the minute it seems to be baring Rafa out.
