    I will be surprised if.......

........ we are not bottom of the Premiership on 17th December. I cannot see any way that we will gain points from either Liverpool on Wednesday or Man. Utd. on Sunday. I don't know who the three below us are playing but there is a fair chance that they'll gain the odd point or two to go above us. After these two games we really do have to 'get our fingers out' if we are to give ourselves any chance of moving up the table.

There is reason to take heart against both these teams...two major points that need to be attended to are the passing of the ball (even village players can do that) and the finesse in front of goal. The balance was not perfect versus Swans but it was an improvement on most of the games in the past. We must not just sit back and let them have the midfield...but I don't need to tell anyone that we all know it.

Both Liverpool and Man U are a bit dodgy at times in defence and must be punished at every given chance.

Has anyone been watching Lukaku recently giving two goals away as a last defender...he's a bloody centre forward for goodness sake.
