Who would u sign if Ashley give rafa £40m in jan? I havent a clue bc the way transfers are going teams will want £25m for very average players. Swasnea signed that kid klucus from Hull for £17-20m and he is sh*t i think loan signings could be best but even then u have to pay £10m a season for a good player just to loan. Football is f*cked

£40 million won't get you that much sadly at the minute.
I think i'd be prepared to spend it all on a 20 a season striker to be honest.
If it could be two lots of £20 million on a number 10 and good prem striker, i'd be happy with that to.
However i think sadly, Rafa is more likely to get £15 million max. I think we need to seriously look at some loans in Jan.

Don't think I'd spend transfeer fees on players as they would be average buys anyway. I'd simply look for loan players - there are plenty about - who could come in a do an immediate job to help us stay clear of relegation, eg. Markovic, Ings, Batshuayi, etc.. Alright, I know there are no guarantees that they will do the job or even come here, but I think it's the best option for us.
In the summer, I'd re-evaluate the whole squad - hopefully under new ownership.

I think it was £86 million, which was heavily up from the original £40 million.
