Cheers Donz, another tough game on the cards tonight against a Stoke team that will be smarting after a heavy defeat against Spurs..

Good article Donzy, Stoke have looked very prone to counter attacking football this season which will go in our favour as we can do counter attack with the best of them. So long as when Crouch comes on there's enough room in Tarkys pocket for him then we have a chance.

Who would ever have thought we would get to Christmas and be looking at not just European qualification but Champions League places.

Bardsley deserves it....is eager and alert - long may it continue.

....and lets hope we can bring more fluidity into our attacks - too many fizzle out and come to nothing because we hesitate with the ball.

....keep an eye on their main protagonist - Shaqiri - defend as we do - and pop in a couple of goals - can't se us losing this - think they'd be lucky (and happy) to leave with a draw.

    Cheers Donz.

I hate these kind of games.

We are expected to win - and we are not used to that feeling.

But we are a much more professional outfit these days so perhaps I am worrying about nowt.

I never feel comfortable until we are three goals up. That has only happened at Chelsea, and even then I ended up listening behind the couch.

Hughes given two games to save his job.

If Bardsley plays it’s his 250th PL game.
If Crouch scores he beats Walters total of 43 as their top scorer

Beware the wounded animal, they have a tendency to fight back when in a corner.. Talking of Corners I'm still laughing at that Stoke corner from last season,it certainly made the lad in the wheelchairs night ..

You guys may or not agree with me on this, but………..I think the next five games are of the upmost importance. 2 against teams well below us, and 3 against teams considered to be the upper echelon. I’d be quite content to come away with 4 points from the aforementioned games. 32 points accrued going into the 2nd half of the season, how sweet would that be?

A meltdown in form will possibly come at some point during the season!

I suppose 32 points would be disappointing if we beat Stoke. I am hoping for at least 8 points. I think Sean’s approach should guard against a meltdown unless our key players are targeted for injuries.
