To add to that PC needs to sell so finding someone who will bring stability to the club is a good thing
This is what he said
I asked what he thought of Chien Lee as he is supposed to be buying our club
Il est très sympathique, très souriant et très riche. Mais je n’ai toujours pas compris son investissement dans Le football professionnel à ce jour, depuis le rachat des actions il n’a pas mis un centime dans le club. Il apporte juste une garantie financière.
Which translates to ..... He is very friendly, very cheerful and very rich. But I don't always understand his investment in professional football to date, since the shares he does not have a penny in the club. He brings just a financial guarantee.
I replied....... Je vous remercie . C'est ce que je pensais. Je pense qu'il aime les clubs de football dont il peut tirer profit plutôt que d'investir dans l'équipe
Which translates to ...... Thank you. That's what I thought. I think he likes football clubs which it can profit rather than investing in the team
He replied ...... Pour résumer je dirai que c’est un actionnaire qui sécurise mais qui ne fait pas changer un club de dimension. il peut vous aider à remonter en Premier League mais pas à devenir une grande équipe européenne...
Which translates to ..... Summing up I would say it is a shareholder who secures but that does not change a dimension club. It can help you go up first League but not to become a great European team...
Just thought I’d share that with you !

Maybe Mr Lee sees a return on his investment through the sale of players , a look at the last 12 months would widen any investors eyes with no emotional ties to the club .
Billy Baseball is his eyes and eyes on the process with a cut of the profit for his time .
If Billy Baseball pulled it off at the Oakland A's and BFC have a succesful system going here then Bob's your uncle , happy days .
Football is an exact science to these people because they know feck all about the game .
They don't even have to face the music because they all live abroad when it goes tyts up , that's left to the CEO and Hecky who are kept here under the leave it alone narrative .
Not saying that's what I believe but you can't discount anything given their motives for buying this club aren't clear .
I was speaking to a life-long Barnsley fan in Sowerby Bridge about Mr Lee.
"That bugga spends his own brass like a man bart arms. Iz no interest in Tarn, just profit fo izsen."
Translation- "Mr Lee is a chap who is rather reluctant to invest his own money and, as a venture capitalist, will only enter a scheme where he sees the opportunity to increase his wealth with the interests of Barnsley FC coming a poor second."
My other theory is that this is a tory funded neoliberal plot to infiltrate the heart of socialist south yorkshire .
They've taken everything fecking else monday to friday and only saturday afternoon remains , the final solution no less .
Mr Lee is the 2017 Ian McGregor , the front man for the establishment and the tories .
The " Goal not Dole " merchandise are already getting sourced .
Every supporter except Forest and Notts County fans will support us in our efforts to keep our community together on a saturday afternoon .
You heard it here first .
You can start out socialist but given a few million quid you can become more tory day by day.
My point is. It's easy to say I'd do this with my money and I'd do that with my money when you've got none. When you've amassed a small fortune and business empire. That money you've built up isn't that easy to part with.
You get tighter, the more money you accrue.
In essence everyone is a capitalist or a tory. Look at football for instance. People buy there local football club and have aspirations of taking it to the next level. However, when they realise what it's going to cost they start sh1tting bricks.
It's not eating into my personal wealth and why should it? becomes the mantra. I've done my bit.
I wouldn't blame Mr Lee if he was like this. However, I'd question why he'd bought the club in the first place if he didn't want to see it prosper and grow.
