News report just in from Bangladesh news.

Newcastle United football club based in north east England has been taken over by Bangladesh tycoon, Mr Mayek Halishkley.
Mr Halishkley, the owner of Dr pepper 2 litre flat air max sports footwear franchise, has promised to immediately put some money into the club for January.
In a phone call to Rafa Benitez, Mr Halishkley has promised him a brand new pair of Dr pepper 2 litre sports shoes, as well as the entire team and also they are allowed to drink the contents before flattening into state of the art footwear.

Rafa has also been promised 50 million Bangladeshi taka for January and a minimum investment of 100 million taka for every transfer window from then on.

Each player will be paid 10 million taka a year and also 1 million taka will be spent on club improvements.

would they not have to tell the prem league and maybe the stock exchange before they made an announcement
i was told saturday this would be the only conceivable way a leaking of news would occur

despite people on here having mates who work in indians

Once a sale is agreed in principle it still had to pass the FA owner vetting process, which takes up to a month... got no idea how long it would take as we don’t have a clue who the owner(s) would be.

So if we don’t get a sale agree soon there will be sod all time in the window left to buy anyone.

On the flip side, Ashley has to realise his time to agree a sale is running out.

He has put the club up for sale, so he wants a sale... and this club could well go down without a good investment in Jan... so he had a limited window to sell, or face the risk of us going down and not having any big assets to fund that loss of income.

I'd go one step further than that, Ian, and say we will go down if we don't buy in January-and buy well. The weaknesses of our squad have been laid bare and Rafa can only do so much with what he's got. Everybody knew we weren't as good as our early form suggested and whilst I'd like to think (hope?) we aren't as bad as this shocking run suggests, I think the reality of how 'good' we are is closer to the latter than the former.
