Where does it say anyone was banned for swearing?

Sounds good to me - we would then get similar attendances to Forest

Mansfield tried it. Didn't work. Can't think for the life of me why !

Grimsby fans would give Mansfield a run for their money , strange lot.

Nah, it wouldn't be the same, going down the Lane without the missus.

I'm not in favour of banning fans unless it's really serious but then you can lose supporters who are put off going again by people who are over the top. You need both, so maybe the solution is to adopt a more tolerant approach to 'partiizan' behaviour in the Kop but have a no excessive swearing/abuse of the officials/opposition policy in the main stand and zero tolerance in the Family Stand. Then people have a clear choice as to what kind of experience they want to enjoy.

Not allowing people to lend season tickets to friends or family when they can't make it could be counter-productive. I can imagine that it's often people who wouldn't normally attend and it may encourage them to return for more if it's a good game. The ticket is paid for, what's the problem?

Presumably you risk prosecution or more serious punishment if you happen to get caught up in an incident in the future. If you were to come back, sit in an entirely different area of the ground where nobody knows who you are and kept out of bother, you'd most likely be fine.

If fans or anybody can be banned for offensive language looks and general personality that means piggy Evans won't be down the lane anymore .not all bad then .

I don't think it specifically says swearing but I assume this is deemed as anti-social behaviour by some.

I assume 95% of swearing is either banter or frustration aimed towards the officials or opposition players and supporters and is not intended as malicious. For the club to go down that road would be a bit too far, no evidence of this as yet. hope it stays that way.
