I think GMS was offside for his third goal. If you freeze the pane when May returns the ball to him, he looks offside.

I might be wrong here but I think he wasn't offside because May didn't pass the ball the forward.

Do you not have to pass the ball forward for it to be deemed offside?

Their pen shout wasn't a pen, no contact was made with Murray whatsoever.
Our pen shout was not a penalty, ambrose got a decent touch on the ball.
GMS was not offside for his third as May did not play the ball forward.
Considine offside was actually onside, goal should have stood.
The people giving May a hard time for not getting on the score sheet need to start going to games. He's involved in so much play.

Direction of the ball is irrelevant for offside - only the position of the player.

There has to be a defender between the keeper and the attacker at the time of the pass. Nothing to do with direction of the ball
