no we have a fizzy manager
we had a squad that won the right to get into the prem with premiership class players and a supposed world class manager

just like brighton huddersfield burnley, etc etc

truth is their managers managed the next step

im sure many managers would have loved to have come up with the players we had

im not saying we have a world class squad
but certainly one under the correct mangment would do better that we currently are

Having Premier league experience doesn't mean they're Premier League players.

I can put on a sombrero. Doesn't make me a fucking Mexican.

So therefore premier league experience should not mean anything at any time then.
Every single player starts out with no premier league experience and those that manage to get premier league experience must mean they were deemed good enough to be premier league players, surely.

It doesn't mean they're deemed good enough to be prolific if a striker or a master playmaker or an impenetrable defender or keeper.....but.

The key issue should be, having premier league experience does not mean a player is a top premier league footballer.

I can name quite a few, and I'm sure a lot of other posters can, of players who have played for us in the Premiership and old 1st Division who weren't good enough to be classed as top flight players.

And that's despite them having experience of top flight football.

This. Colback has played something like 200 PL games - is he at Premier League level? Nope.

What not, you down plenty of time drumming no it into us at the beginning of the season and arguing against those who disagreed
