For Barker to say he'll get some game time after Christmas there is a bit bizzare. Unless he has a crytal ball or Ball himself turns his form around and is given a go at it there I don't know why he'd say such a thing.
I see what you're getting at Frog but when Barker says "At the moment, I can’t see any reason why he won’t be playing for Aberdeen after Christmas." I think he means that Ball will still be an Aberdeen player, not that he'll actually get picked for the first team.

We've got 3 Centre backs. Dom Ball is our player, don't need to pay a fee. Who are we going to get better at this time of the year. A kid like Manny whose not ready or a journeyman best days are behind him player. You do the maths. But he's not one of Warney's boys. He likes good boys who run round cones.

He told the others he could play football.

Yeah, he put sugar in Warne’s tea.

    Had to go.

    Quote from Brin :

    Attitude problem?
Poor development from our club with such a young player? Quick to cast off to another club? Who sent him to Aberdeen?
So what is the problem with Dom Ball?
With all the permutations and combinations Warne has tried so far this season, which on reflection have to say have failed miserably at times, why not bring Ball home and see him in training once again. Maybe his attitude has changed and he is willing to give it good go.[/QUOTE]

The club may have told him he wasn't part of the set up this season.
No-one sent him to Aberdeen ultimately it's the decision of the player.
DB has played up in Scotland before, 2015/2016 at Rangers, played 30 games and had a good season at Gers although he missed the Scottish Cup Final due to being suspended.
He can't even get in the starting 11 at Aberdeen so why expect him to be the answer to our defensive problems.
    Bring back Swales & Macca.

You already know what he did G.W.
Official line from Peterbrough was that DB wasn't picked for a game & he disagreed with team selection.
It all comes down to who you believe, Grant McCann at Boro or DB.
No one player is bigger than the club.

I thought it was about what position he wanted to play, either way Warney wasn’t impressed and decided not to give him a go here

    Quote from Posh Manager...Grant McCann...

" a disagreement over selection policy " and " he was left out of the side because he didn't agree with the team picked"
Either way a Manager is paid to select the team and selection policy, players are paid to play whichever position they're asked to.
At least we saved some cash not having to pay his wages after he came back.
Would he actually improve our defence/midfield or would we better spending the cash saved not paying him to bring a little bit better player in so Icky & Ajayi can learn a lot more about defensive duties ?

Surely a good manager would rise above such petty events?

Sounds like a convenient excuse for bad management.
