    FAO BaggiesBoyTony

Just let you know Tony I went last night to the Mail drink get together. I saw Gary Barlow, Lawrence Ford, Dave Jones, John Gatcombe, Dave Tucker, Johnny Garner, Julian Bell, Paul Kinsey. But I learned from Dave Jones that unfortunately Johnny Chapman had passed away a few weeks ago. Seems like every year I hear of another colleague leaving us.

Sorry to hear that Paul, I worked with John for a number of years, last I heard of him he was living in Aus. It worries me a little because he was a few years younger than me. :

I believe he had cancer a few years back and apparently survived that. Then I think he had part of his liver removed and came through that but this time whatever it was got him. So many people I know, friends and family, have succumbed to it in one form or another. Insidious, evil disease and we should plough more money into curing all forms of it instead of wasting money on sh*t like a free gift to the nation of a platinum coin celebrating the marriage of the Queen and Prince Philip. What a load of cr*p.
