Gareth Barry was up for it, We do need him in midfield for three reasons. 1. he can pick a pass 2..He wants to score and three his tackling was great today. How can we leave him out?

Too much respect paid to Utd in first half. Defenders gave their strikers too much space and didn’t get tight enough.

What a corner, arguably the best keeper in the Premiership couldn't get near it, the wand never fails.....

I really felt for Hegazi when the deflection went in...he still had a good game though....I felt a 1-1 draw would have been a fair result...they really looked shaky when we were battering them in the second half.

Personal murph I don't think they were that good in the first half to be honest , we just stood off them & let then play it around without looking dangerous at all then Evans booted the ball in the air it fell to one of their guys who crossed it back in to the box where Lukaku who was being marked by Gibbs because Evans had lost him buried his header . Then its a different game .

Agree Jots, my son remarked that Evans got caught out under the ball.

Thought Burke was partly at fault too for the first goal too slow and unaware in stopping the cross. I know it was his first start but I thought he looked out of his depth generally.
