Let's face it, he's a poor keeper and Christiansen seems hell bent on proving everyone wrong, he doesn't control his box and some of his saves are redemption of his own mistakes....he flaps at crosses worse than silvestri did, when a keeper makes a mistake it's usually a goal.....we can't lose precious points by letting a keeper learn at our promotion expense.
Move house Billy. The big smoke is where it's at.....
I keep asking, all this talk of 'he cost us before' - can someone give me the example of a single point we've lost as a direct result of a Wiedwald mistake ? To repeat an earlier post:
"Of those draws and defeats when Wiedwald has played, how many could we say were genuinely down to Wiedwald - obviously not the 0-0 draws, and I don't think you could fault him for the Villa goal, and of the defeats, Sheff Wed I think we'd have lost with Gordon Banks in goal, Millwall, from the match report "Leeds goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald then pulled off a string of saves to deny Morison again, Shaun Williams and Shaun Hutchinson", and Cardiff I think anyone would struggle to say we lost that specifically because of Wiedwald."
Whilst I'm not blindly supporting the guy, saying he has 'already cost us' is simply not true. And it would be very hard to argue against the fact that we seem to play best when he's in the team - certainly on this season's evidence so far. Is he a great keeper - no, that's pretty clearly true, but, has he cost us even a single point this season so far - no, does the team seem to perform better with him in goal - it looks that way. So, what I'd like to know is who should we bring in that is going to A) Guarantee better performances as a GK and B ) Guarantee that all-round team performances will be at least as good and C) that is actually a realistic target for LUFC ???
I can ask when I get on if that helps? 😊
Goalkeepers affect the defence positively and negatively. He's cost us with his mistakes by leading other teams to realise we are vulnerable and he in particular. Which has then led to us being under the cosh and shipping goals that have lost points
Keepers can also do the opposite to their own team and the opposition. Which is why it's doubly important to have a confidant and secure one.

OK so Felix is crap, fact is he's our gk and he will play games and we won't get another gk in January. Support him to give him a slight chance to improve or boo the crap out a him to guarantee he makes mistakes and then we drop points every match!
