    About the takeover,last week it was supposed to be a done deal now it's gone quiet.

    the thing about the done deal crack, is, it only came from the press.

    Kev Broon remains convinced.

    i would say our league position is having an effect

    i would think they have realised just how much investment under rafa will be needed to stay in the prem
    or maybe
    they are having doubts over rafas abilities

    im sure they would have talked to football people to get a review on rafa
    and if you listen to the radio the tv and look in the press
    he is getting blamed for some of our issues

    & thats why Im at a loss as to why it hasn't gone through already what with our world class manager at the helm !

    hasn,t it got to checked out by the FA and can take a month in doing so

    she has already been doing her checks with the fa in readiness for any potential deal.

    I think she'll cut a deal (Or at least hope she will) that involves Ashley giving Rafa a kitty to cover business in January.

    Ashley will be payed this back in due course as part of the price which ensures the team is strengthened before the transfer window shuts and we stay up to move on in 2018.

    I'm no financial expert but this is one of the only ways I can see this whole thing working.

    what i mean mick is once its virtually in the bag the FA have to check her company out for suitability to run the club dont they?

    yes, that is correct, but that process has already begun, as the FA were informed long ago of the possibility of the club changing hands, and she has been presented to the FA. as a potential owner, they will have started their relevant checks
