Another manager goes - Brough win first?

Championship side Middlesbrough have parted company with manager Garry Monk just six months after he was appointed.
    They just won 2-1?

    Famous last words

That was our best away performance of the season and I thought it was a thoroughly deserved win.

"They are a good team with some quality players, but overall we dealt with their moments pretty well.

"We have to build on this and use it as a springboard. There are more things to work on and improve."

Ah well over to someone else!

Think the Chairman was looking for better than 9th after splashing the cash in the summer. He was sacked rather than resigned.

That's a shame.I like Monk and think he was unlucky at Swansea.

His CV won't look very good now unfortunately.

Just be grateful you are a Burnley supporter and we treat people fairly

Yes it seems weird, but on channel 5 last night the Irish presenter said all tweets from Brough fans wanted him out whilst non fans couldn’t understand it? Maybe Gibson was doing what the fans wanted, but to do it after aa away win at the busiest time of year when three points from the play off places and winnable games against Bolton Sunderland Preston and Villa coming up with 3 at Home seems profoundly daft.

Really hope they miss out on the play offs couldn't happen to a nicer set of fans, monk is a decent manager and will find work pretty quick and probably at a higher level than Boro.
I'm sure the gazette will find some way to blame on us for their failure to walk the league, maybe it will be because we didn't sign Assombalonga or something.
